Morning Update

Stage is set for second day of conference. On the agenda is a keynote speech by UN Deputy Secretary General Asha Rose-Migiro, a plenary session on navigating the tides of globalization, and a concluding session with President Kikwete, the MD, and Kofi Annan. The key issue for the day is how Africa and the international community should deal with the crisis with a concrete list of actions. More later.
